Pasta with mussels and tomatoes


Exceptionally tasty dish for seafood lovers.
Try to fill your home-made meal with new taste experiences by preparing an incomparable pasta with mussels and tomatoes stewed in white wine. This dish is perfect for a family holiday, friendly gatherings, a romantic dinner, decorate any table and create a festive atmosphere.

Ingredients For Servings:
  • pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine or other) 500 grams
  • garlic 2 cloves
  • dry white wine 50 ml
  • 0.5 chili pepper or to taste
  • tomatoes 500 grams
  • frozen mussels 1 kg
  • olive oil 3 tbsp. spoons
  • parsley is a small bunch
  • salt, black pepper to taste

Cooking:

1: Thaw mussels in advance, rinse off mucus and sand and soak in room temperature water for 30 minutes, then dry them in a colander and dry.
2: Finely chop the garlic and chilli, finely chop the parsley, chop the tomatoes into slices.
3: Dip the paste in boiling salted water and cook until al dente.
4: Heat olive oil in a pan, add garlic and chili pepper and fry for 1 minute.
5: Add tomatoes to the pan and fry for 1-2 minutes, until the tomatoes begin to soften.
6: Add mussels, parsley to the pan, pour in the wine and simmer for about 5 minutes, until the mussels are opened, periodically shaking the pan. Unopened mussels get and discard.
7: Drain the water from the paste, retaining approximately 150 ml of water in which it was boiled.
8: Add the paste to the pan with mussels, add water and warm for 30-40 seconds, gently stirring.
9: Put the dish on plates and serve immediately.
