The Red Door Cafe Popular Kala Bhuna Recipe

Mezbani  is one of the majestic traditions of Chittagong that means a grand feast arranged by the host to entertain the entire neighborhood. The main attraction of this regal feast is undoubtedly the mouth tingling spicy Kala Bhuna cooked from succulent meat that you have on your plate served hot complemented by another dish called shutter dal with beef parts that makes the food even more tongue-singeing when served with White Rice.
As proud Chittagonian,. presenting the majestic Chittagonian Mezbani delicacy this week that does not claim sophistication neither do encourage you to quietly put a serviette on your lap. All you need is to grab a chair and become the beef lover that you perhaps are.

Ingredients:

→1 kilogram Beef
→0.5 cup Onion
→2 tablespoon Ginger
→2 tablespoon Garlic
→1 tablespoon Turmeric
→1 tablespoon Jeera
→1 tablespoon Dhonia
→3 tablespoon Red Chilli Powder
→0.5 teaspoon Posta
→1 tablespoon Vinegar
→1 teaspoon GaramMasala
→0.5 cup Mustard oil
→0.5 cup Soyabean oil
→1 tablespoon Salt
→1 teaspoon Pepper


Preparation:

1 • Marinate the beef with all the ingredients except oil,vinegar and garam masala

2• In a pan...add oil,marinated beef...stir continuously for 5 mins in a medium flame.

3• Thn cover the pan with a heavy lid.....cook it in a low flame...

4• When the water comes out add the vingar and try until golden black....

5• Serve it with dried chillis.
